Yanan Dai is a well known author for a series of art education books, written in Chinese, her books dedicated to supporting parents embracing art and bringing it into daily life and to deepen understanding among children and parents.

Yanan actively brings art into the community, weaving it into everyday life. She serves as a Committee Member of Gallery Without Walls, a nationally recognized public art program in Lake Oswego, and offers ink-painting–based art therapy for seniors at Mirabella Retirement Community.

亚楠老师积极推动艺术进社区，直接服务于每个人的生活。她是Lake Oswego著名的Gallery Without Wall公众艺术项目的Committee Member，也在Mirabella Retirement Community通过水墨疗愈服务高龄群体。

 Worked as guest teacher at both private and public schools, organized workshops at library and community center, Yanan dedicated herself to bringing the beauty of Chinese Ink painting to the people. She is also offering limited classes for both adults and children who are interested in Chinese culture and art. She is teaching at her own art studio located at Lake Oswego. 

她先后在多所私立和公立学校及社区学院担任客座老师教授水墨课程，并在周末开放画室教授本地儿童青少年水墨课。
